| It is appropriate to consider some fire sprinkler extinguishment system recommendations during October which features Fire Prevention Week from October 6 to 11. From time to time in prior newsletters, we have included links to U.S. Fire Administration National Fire Academy "Coffee Break Training" presentations. These are of special value for the engineer with responsibility for fire protection systems within a lodging establishment. One has the advantage of reviewing the material used in training the AHJ, authority having jurisdiction, who will be inspecting your property in the future. You will be aware as to what will be emphasized in the various fire protection systems "in house."
